Campground Policies & Rules

Cancellations

-Cancellation Policy: If you should have to cancel, you must do that 1 full week or more in advance to receive money back. There is a 25% processing fee for W/E/S, W/E, and Primitive sites, and a $20 fee for Cabins/Trailers, OR you can take a rain check at no loss of payment to use one year from the date it is received. NO refunds will be issued the week of your stay. Should you need to cancel, you will need to get a rain check. NO refunds or rain checks will be issued for early check-out.


Visitors

We allow 5 people to stay over night on each site (4yrs old and younger are free, cabins do not apply/check details.) Any guests that come to visit for a couple hours are asked to stop in the office and get a car pass with no fee EXCEPT on holiday weekends where the $5 fee applies. Overnight guests must pay $5 each per night.


Parking

-All vehicles entering/exiting and/or parking within campground property MUST display a vehicle pass which can be acquired at the front office. -Please do NOT under any circumstances park your camper, vehicle, and/or golf cart, etc. on any site other than your own regardless of whether the site is empty or not. Do NOT under any circumstances move to a different site without first checking with the office. If you need additional parking, ask the front office upon check-in.


Personal Recreational Vehicles

We do allow camper's to bring personal golf carts, four wheelers, etc. however, we require PROOF OF INSURANCE upon arrival and have a ZERO tolerance for failure to follow our rules. You'll be asked to park it OR leave. You must register upon check-in. We ask that no one under 16 is driving without an adult or someone 16 or older. You must maintain a speed of 5mph or less, and stay on campground roads (no trail riding). Speeding or reckless driving will not be tolerated. Do not overload golf cart


Guest Conduct

We are a family friendly campground and we ask that you are respectful of this. You are 100% responsible for your parties behavior. We do allow alcohol, but ask that you drink responsibly. Please be mindful of who is around you, your language and your behavior. We have ZERO tolerance for violence or threats of violence. You and your party will be asked to leave immediately if you fail to follow and cooperate with any warnings given.


Risks

The guest assumes all risks and dangers incidental to the activity of camping in a rustic outdoor environment including specifically (but not exclusively), the danger of being injured by insects or other animals, being injured while participating in recreational activities such as hiking, swimming or boating at the Campground, or being injured as a result of weather conditions, and agrees that Timberline Campground, its owners and employees are NOT liable for injuries, property damage or loss.


Quiet Hours

10:30pm-8am. Please be considerate of your neighbors and other campers. All children/teens must be at their campsite by this time. Golf carts may only be used to go to and from bath houses and/or an accompanying parties' site. No excessive music volume, loud voices/excessive behavior, or excessive vehicle noise. Failure to follow these rules may result in removal from the campground without refund.


Firewood

-No fire wood can be brought into the campground unless it is wrapped and has the USDA stamp. This is an order from the Department of Agriculture Quarantine. We sell firewood in the office during business hours.


50amp VS 30amp

-Some sites only have 50amp service. We usually make your reservation according to your needs, but please specify and/or bring an electrical adapter if your camper needs one. We also have adapters available for rent or purchase in our office.


Cabin Policies

-We do not provide linens in our cabins, so guests need to bring their own bed sheets, pillows and towels. No smoking allowed in ANY of the cabins. Only some cabins allow pets, so please verify upon making a reservation or you may risk loosing your deposit. -You must clean up before checking out, or you may risk loosing your deposit. - Check individual cabin description for details.


Pool Rules

There is NO lifeguard on duty. Swimming is at your own risk.

  • Those 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
  • No running, diving or roughhousing.
  • No hanging on the rope.
  • No smoking or drinking allowed IN the pool. Outside on the surrounding  pool deck is allowed as long as your cigarette butts are disposed of  properly, and you aren't drinking from a glass bottle.
  • If you bring your own radio, please be mindful of the type of music you're playing and the volume. 
  • No pets allowed in pool area.


Lake Rules

No Swimming Allowed

  • Catch and release fishing is permitted. You do not need a fishing license.
  • Kayaks, canoes and small fishing boats are welcome. Life jackets are required.
  • No littering.
  • Be mindful of those camping near by.


Pets

We are a pet friendly campground, but we do have a few rules. Please keep your pets on a leash at ALL times and always pick up after them. Do NOT leave your pets unattended. We ask that you keep your pets quiet and controlled. Pets are not allowed inside the pool area. Failure to follow these rules may have you removed from the campground without refund.


Restrooms

Please have an adult accompany children to the restrooms and shower houses. Help keep our restrooms and shower houses clean by being respectful of campground property and immediately reporting any issues to the front office.


Campground/Site Clean Up

We do our best to keep the campground clean. Please do your part.

Trash

No littering. Do NOT throw trash in the lake. We do not have trash pick-up at the sites, so please take all trash to the dumpster located to the right of the front parking lot throughout your stay and prior to checking out. 

Septic Tank Pump-Outs

We operate our tractor and honeywagon every Monday and Tuesday in the morning and into the afternoon as well as on Fridays in the morning (with the exception of holiday weekends, unless absolutely necessary, or if it is raining.) We understand that this is often unpleasant, but please know that it's necessary. 

Mowing

We operate our mowers Wednesday-Friday as needed, unless it's raining. 

Please note that all of our seasonal campers are responsible for their own yard care. 


Photos

Entrance onto campground property constitutes permission for the staff and management of Timberline Campground to photograph visitors while on the premises and to use any resulting photos for any lawful purpose without permission or compensation to the visitor.

Failure to comply with campground policies may result in removal from campground without refund.
